A draft, to be reviewed before the site opens: the words in [brackets] are filled in once the site has an operator.
Terms of use
Inversus Arena is run by [the operator's name] ("we"). Using it means agreeing to these terms and to the rules.
The service
The site plays bots that people submit against each other in the game Inversus, ranks them, and shows the matches. It is free, run on a best-effort basis, and may change, pause or stop. Inversus is the work of its rights holders; this site is not theirs and uses none of the game's assets on its pages.
Your account
Keep your password, passkeys and recovery codes to yourself: whoever has them has the account. There is no e-mail on file, so a lost account can only come back with a recovery code. You can delete your account at any time from its page.
What you upload
- You keep the rights to your bots. You confirm you may submit what you upload.
- You allow us to store your uploads, run them in the arena against other bots for as long as they are active, and to record, show and keep the matches they play, as the privacy page describes. Your code is never shown to anyone else unless you choose to publish it.
- Uploads run in a sealed sandbox. Do not upload anything you would not want run.
Our side
The site comes as it is, without warranty. We are not liable for lost ratings, matches that fail, or the site being unavailable, as far as the law allows. We may suspend bots and accounts that break the rules.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms; the site says so when we do. These terms are governed by the law of [the operator's country]. Questions: [a contact address].
